Students in the 6th Grade are currently exploring the physical geography of Canada. Students are currently learning the major bodies of water, climate, natural resources and physical features of Canada.Including the 4 principle types of natural vegetation in North America: Desert Scrub, Tundra, Forests and Grasslands.
Students also need to familiarize themselves with the 13 provinces and territories of Canada, including:
British Columbia, Manitoba, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Yukon, Nunavut, and the Northwest Territories.
